This was a very special wedding for me because I met Stephanie when she was only 17 – when I had the opportunity to photograph her High School Senior photos. She had that beautiful smile that brightens any room.
Little did I know that several years later I would eventually photograph her wedding. I was super excited when we got together again to talk about her “Big Day”. I was really happy to see and work with Stephanie again and it was a real pleasure to meet Josh. And what a great couple they are! 🙂
The Ceremony.
Her ceremony was at the Holly Cross Church in Slatehill, NY; a church where I have been countless times. There were some funny moments during their ceremony. Below is their reaction to one of them. lol
I love the photo below of their first walk together as husband and wife.
At the “Villa Borghese”.
When we arrived at the Villa Borghese we were ready to have some fun. They had planned enough time for the photos and we made every second count. Below are just some of the highlights.
First some fun photos with the bridal party.
Once we were finished with the bridal party and immediate family members, they headed off to the cocktail hour and we still had plenty of time to do the bridal photos.
What I love about the Villa Borghese grounds is that you can do some many beautiful images in the same area, not having to go anywhere outside the reception area for any additional photos.
Bridal Photos.
First we took all of the couples photographs. A mixture of posed, semi-posed and totally spontaneous ones. 🙂
A combination of color and BW images for an elegant look for their collection.
The Groom.
One of the things I am known for is my dual style of high-fashion and Old Hollywood glamour. I apply these same techniques that I use for my portraits to weddings as well.
The Bride.
Needless to say, Stephanie was a perfect model. The combination of her personality, beauty and elegance made for some EPIC bridal portraits.
What I like to do for my brides is a quick fashion shoot where we get a combination of fun and posed images.
Below are just some of the many images we took.
The next two images I don’t know which one I like more. The color or the BW one.
The Reception.
The energy in their reception was totally amazing! Everyone was just having a blast. I took hundreds of photos and I couldn’t possibly display them all here; but I believe the image below symbolizes the emotions that lasted from the beginning to the end of “their Day”.
Thank you Stephanie and Josh for the pleasure of working with you two, as well as your family and friends. All the happiness in the world to you. 🙂
