Danielle & Greg got married at the beautiful West Hills Country Club in Middletown, NY. What I really like about this venue is that all of the locations for photos are absolutely gorgeous – from the bridal suite, to the ceremony area and then the famous bridge which is just a golf cart trip away.
One very unique thing about their day is that they got married during a Blood Moon calendar day and I was able to capture a gorgeous image of them together with the moon in the background. You will see that image as the last photo of this blog.
I’ve been to the West Hills numerous times and it’s always a great experience. The funny thing is that even though I’ve been there so many times, every wedding is different and unique and this reflects on the photos as well.
When I arrived at the bridal suite, right away I fell in love with the details, from the girls country boots to the embroidered bridesmaids shirts and all of Danielle’s ideas. I felt totally inspired and since we had some time before the ceremony we ended up taking many more photos than anticipated.
Below are just some of the photos we took at the bridal suite.
The Ceremony.
As was expected for their day, the weather was absolutely perfect! Here are some of the highlights of their beautiful outdoor wedding.
The Bridge.
One of the most popular spots for the West Hills Country Club is a wooden bridge which is just a short golf cart trip away. It is such a versatile place to photograph. Here are just a small fraction of the photos we took there.
The Reception.
As I mentioned in the beginning of this blog, this is the Blood Moon which happened to be on their day. I waited carefully for the clouds to clear up a little so I could get this image. I’m so glad I was able to capture this image as it is one of those that most likely I will never get to do it again.
Thanks Danielle and Greg for the pleasure of working with you for both your engagement session and your wedding day. I wish you all the happiness in the world. 🙂
