I met Vanessa during her younger sister’s high school senior photo session where she and her mom were helping with all the little details. We had such a great time that day and I was so happy when Vanessa contacted me 3 years later to photograph her wedding. 🙂
When we met to go over the details she told me that the day we did her little sister’s photos she knew I was going to photograph her wedding. I was so honored that she had considered me for her wedding without me ever being even aware of it.
I wrote a separate blog about her engagement session at Minewaska State Park near New Paltz, NY. Her photos came out absolutely amazing and I knew they would be just as amazing for her wedding.
Vanessa has such a cute and bubbly personality and when I got to her house on the day of the wedding it was so cool to see everyone again including her cousin who I had also worked with in the past.
The Ceremony.
Vanessa & Michael got married at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Middletown.
The reception at The Grand View.
The grand view is a place I’ve been to many times and know the grounds very well. I love that it gives us access to a walkway right by the water with the Mid-Hudson bridge in the background.
After we had done the photos of the bridal party so they could head out to the cocktail hour we spent some time capturing just Vanessa & Michael – the two perfect models. 🙂
I don’t know which of the next two photos I like more, the color or BW.
The Reception.
